Hubdoc still does an excellent job at the all the core features of an OCR accounting software, and at just $12 per month it represents excellent value for money. Not all OCR software are created equal, and the consensus seems to be that Dext is superior to Hubdoc hubdoc reviews when it comes to reliably extracting the correct information into the correct data field. While Hubdoc will certainly be fine for the majority of standard invoices, it’s software will be less able to correctly interpret hand written invoices and receipts compared to Dext.

As the title says, forget about posting anything where the VAT is even penny out. There is no way to make bookkeeping any sort of adjustment and the only thing to do is post an incorrect invoice to your accounts and then go in and amend it afterwards. It’s supposedly free for users of Xero, but with the amount of duplicated work you’ll need to do the true costs are far higher than most alternative suppliers. I would recommend Hubdoc in almost any situation, except where Ledger Docs, Neat, or one of the other options out there made more sense with their workflow or with regard to pricing.

Using Hubdoc with Xero

Xero just purchased this company which makes me leery of using it as a QBO user. Offering incentives for reviews or asking for them selectively can bias the TrustScore, which goes against our guidelines. Suggested companies are based on people’s browsing tendencies. Claim your profile to access Trustpilot’s free business tools and connect with customers. Nice that you can publish right to QBO (we use QBO for all accounting).

Since Xero started two factor authentication hubdoc is unworkable

OCR (optical character recognition) software have been a real game changer for the small business accounting world. As you can imagine, Accounting for Churches this really speeds up the data entry aspect of bookkeeping. These can then automatically be fed into your accounting software, which makes AP really easy.
